No clean export. Wix doesn't offer a full, structured store export the way open platforms do — products come out via a limited CSV, and a lot has to be reconstructed deliberately.
Migrate Wix to Shopify and actually scale.
A complete Wix → Shopify migration for stores that have outgrown Wix's ecommerce ceiling: catalog and customers moved, 1:1 redirects from Wix's /product-page/ URLs, SEO preserved, and a real Shopify storefront that handles apps, variants and checkout the way Wix never could.

What makes a Wix exit different.
Wix is a closed platform, which changes the migration playbook. Five things to plan for:
URL structure. Wix uses /product-page/[name] and other fixed patterns; without a 1:1 redirect map to Shopify's /products/[handle], you lose the rankings you built.
Proprietary content blocks. Wix's ADI/Editor content doesn't map to anything portable — the storefront design is rebuilt natively on Shopify (usually an upgrade).
Wix Bookings / Wix Stores features. If you use Wix's native bookings, members area, or blog, each needs a deliberate Shopify equivalent (app or custom).
SEO settings buried. Meta titles, descriptions and 301s configured in Wix have to be extracted and re-applied; they don't come along automatically.
What I migrate.
Because Wix is closed, the value is in doing the reconstruction carefully. In scope by default:
- ◆ Catalog — products, options → variants, images, prices, inventory reconstructed cleanly on Shopify (Wix's limited export normalised, not dumped).
- ◆ Customers — exported and imported with a branded account-setup email at launch.
- ◆ Redirects — 1:1 map from Wix /product-page/ and content URLs to Shopify equivalents, audited for top traffic pages.
- ◆ SEO — meta titles, descriptions, alt text and canonicals re-applied; sitemap regenerated; Search Console resubmission.
- ◆ Storefront — custom Shopify theme matched to (or improving on) your Wix design; mobile-first, fast.
- ◆ Feature parity — Wix Stores features mapped to Shopify; bookings/members/blog handled with the right app or custom build.
- ◆ Apps + integrations — email platform, analytics, payment, shipping reconnected on Shopify.
- ◆ 30-60 day post-launch monitoring + recovery report.

How a typical project ships.
Discovery + audit
Read of your current store — platform version, catalog size, top traffic URLs, apps/plugins, integration surface. Output: a migration spec doc with the data model and SEO-preservation plan.
Sandbox migration
Build the new Shopify on a development store, migrate test data, validate the catalog, design the theme. You see working pages by week 2; your current store stays live.
Cutover plan
A written cutover plan — rollback procedure, DNS schedule, redirect deployment, Search Console resubmission. Cutover runs in a low-traffic window.
Monitor + recover
Daily rankings + organic-sessions monitoring for 30-60 days. Recovery report with charts; redirects and on-page SEO adjusted as needed.
Wix migration FAQs.
No fluff — the specifics buyers want before booking a call. If yours isn't here, ask on the call.
Can you export everything from Wix automatically?
No — Wix is a closed platform with a limited export. Products come out via CSV; a lot (design, some content, SEO settings) is reconstructed deliberately on Shopify. That's normal for Wix and it's why doing it carefully matters more here than on open platforms.
Will I keep my Google rankings?
With a proper 1:1 redirect map from Wix's /product-page/ and content URLs to the new Shopify URLs, yes — a short dip then recovery by week 6-8. Without redirects, Wix's URL structure guarantees a big drop. The redirect map is the deliverable that protects you.
Why move from Wix to Shopify?
Move when you've hit Wix's ecommerce ceiling — limited apps, weaker variant/inventory handling, checkout you can't customise, scaling and integration limits. If you're a small content site with a few products, Wix may still be fine; I'll tell you honestly.
